I am a single mother of 3 children.  I was married for 13 years to a man who now finds it difficult to work a steady job or pay his child and spousal support.  We lost our home to foreclosure because my ex-husband refused to pay the mortgage despite that fact that it was court ordered.  We are in dire need of assistance at this point because I am 3 months behind in my rent and am scheduled to go to court on February 7th.  I am currently unemployed and am trying to find work, however, I need child care assistance.  I have and old car with 184,000 miles on it and it needs lots of work. I have signed up to take colledge classes online and complete a degree in early education.  I have been trying to apply for scholarships and loans (but my credit is less than perfect and am unemployed following a medical issue).  I lossed a child in November and have been moderately depressed but I am anxious to get my life in order and be able to provide a comfortable life for my children (ages 13, 10 and 5).
